Not The Same Old New year!

Greetings.

It is the New Year and many people say that they will make changes and set out on new goals to achieve, That is great but have they taken the time to learn anything new? How can you expect new results with the same old thinking and same old actions? Isn't that insanity? If this new year represents a new beginning for you then it's time to do things differently or do different things. In order for that to take place, acquiring new information and knowledge must be at the top of your new years "to do" list.

While we make our goals and set out on the road to new accomplishments, I'd like to take the time to give thinks. First to The Creator for the gift of life. I thank my ancestors from The Motherland, Afrika, for being a masterful people. I thank my ancestors who survived the middle passage (and honor those who did not) for giving my people the strength to survive all evil that comes our way. I thank my ancestors, The Shinnicock for maintaining sovereignty and providing a home on this land. I thank my parents for being the vehicle for my creation. I thank the many teachers I have had and thank the ones in advance that I will meet. I thank the mothers of my children for being the vehicles of creation for my sons. I thank my sons for being my inspirations. I thank my brother for being a free spirit. I thank you all that have been a part of my life and for enriching it.
